South American guest performance in Halmstad, Falkenberg, Malmö and Linköping

All the way from Bogotá in Colombia, the guest Orquesta Filarmónica de Bogotá is coming to Sweden in April. The orchestra is considered one of South America’s finest orchestras and is conducted by Swedish conductor Joachim Gustafsson, the orchestra’s chief conductor since 2021.

They are primarily contracted for the Tommie Haglund Festival in Halmstad, where they will perform several concerts.
In Malmö and Linköping there will be a unique opportunity to take part in a concert with a very varied program. Music from Colombia, new music signed by Tommie Haglund and Per Gessle, and one of Mozart’s most famous piano concertos are some of the items. The concert concludes with a magnificent Symphony, premiered in Stockholm in 2019, by the aforementioned Tommie Haglund.

Appearing as soloist in Malmö is Emmi Christensson, who has stood on many large stages with roles in the musical genre. Emmi has played leading roles in several iconic musicals such as Maria in West Side Story, Liesl in The Sound of Music and several productions as Cosette in ”Les Misérables” in both Sweden and Norway. Over the years, TV audiences have come to know Emmi from programs such as ”Så ska det låta”, ”Allsång på Skansen”, ”Doobidoo” and ”Moraeus med mera”.
